Lawn Sprinkler Repair Technician:
Responsibilities: You must be able to complete daily
service schedule by troubleshooting the customers problems and
making the necessary repairs in a timely manner.
Requirements:
- We
are looking for someone who is self-motivated and is detail
oriented.
- You
must have a good attitude and be able to deal with the public.
- You
must have knowledge in all areas of irrigation, irrigation license
is helpful but not necessary.
- You
must have a valid Ontario drivers license with a clean driving
record.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be physically able to perform heavy manual labor.
- Operate
trencher.
- Lay pipe.
- Dig trenches, ditches, or holes using hand tools.
- Read profiles and blueprints.
- Repair or replace irrigation system parts.
- Perform other tasks as required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Must
possess required knowledge, skills, abilities and experience
and be able to explain and demonstrate, with or without reasonable
accommodations, that the essential functions of the job can
be performed.
- Knowledge of construction power tools.
- Knowledge of installation and operation of irrigation systems.
- Knowledge of proper safety practices, procedures.
- Skill in working from drawings, blueprint plans, and specifications.
Minimum Qualifications
- High
school Education and/or Equivalent Experience:
- One
year experience in installing and maintaining irrigation systems.
- Experience
following oral and written directions.
- Experience
operating equipment used in lawn maintenance.
- Your
own transportation
